Dorson Vocational Training Institute is pleased to offer students without a high school diploma our G.E.D. program. The course is designed to prepare students for the New Jersey State High School Equivalency Exam. Concentrated instruction is provided in Mathematics, Grammar, Reading, and Language Arts. Individualized attention is given to students in the areas of Reading, Writing, and Comprehension. Knowledge regarding career and income management is also provided.
Upon completion of this course, the student will be prepared to take the New Jersey State High School Equivalency Exam.
- The prospective student will be required to take the Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE), a state recognized test as indicated by the National Skills Standard Board. This will determine the students level of basic education in all necessary subject matter
